Recenze i přehled trhu nabízí český web Notebook.cz.

1. Toshiba Satellite A105 (Previously #6) - The Satellite A105 is popular for three reasons 1) It's flexible in configuration and can be had for a cheap price of $520 with a Celeron processor 2) It's available in nearly every store so people know about it 3) It's a mainstream 15.4" screen notebook that's by far the most popular size notebook for first-time notebook buyers. The A105 can be configured with a Celeron, Core Solo or Core Duo processor.

2. Sony VAIO SZ (Previously #2) - Performance in a small package, that sums up the Sony VAIO SZ. The bright glossy 13.3" display is powered by dedicated graphics and a Core Duo processor. It's been popular for a long time and is holding strong.

3. Dell Inspiron e1505 (Previously #3) - Holding steady on the charts the Inspiron e1505 is fully customizable including Core Duo processors, high resolution 15.4" display and several drive options. Dell has found a nice blend of performance and price with the e1505.

4. Dell XPS M1210 (Previously #5) - The XPS M1210 moves up to #4 this month. It's a 12.1" screen Core Duo notebook with an optional built-in web camera and EVDO. And let's not forget the optional nVidia Go 7400 card!

5. Lenovo ThinkPad T60 (Previously #4) - The ThinkPad T60 falls one spot to #5, it's a Core Duo machine that comes with either a 14" or 15" standard aspect ratio display. This thin and light is all about business, featuring one of the best keyboards in the industry, dual pointing devices and optional integrated WAN.

6. Apple MacBook (Previously #2) - Falling a few spots but remaining popular this month is the Apple MacBook. Take the power of the Intel Core Duo processor to go, starting at just $1099. Choose MacBook in black or white, both with a brilliant, 13.3-inch glossy widescreen display. Nearly one inch thin, 5.2 pounds, 100% perfect for anyone who wants power in an affordable package.

7. Sony VAIO FE (New to top 10) - The Sony VAIO FE is an Intel Core Duo 15.4" widescreen notebook that was released earlier this year. It's the big brother of the VAIO SZ and sports similar stylish looks. The VAIO FE is available in most retail stores and of course online.

8. Toshiba Satellite M105 (New to top 10) - The Toshiba M105 is a 14.1" screen notebook and is the slightly smaller brother of the #1 Toshiba A105 15.4" notebook. It can be configured with a powerful Core Duo processor or more cheaply with the Intel Celeron. The good price and wide availability in stores throughout the U.S. and Canada makes this a popular notebook for buyers.

9. Apple MacBook Pro (Previously #8) - Not as popular as its cheaper and smaller MacBook cousin, the Pro falls a spot in popularity from last month. The MacBook Pro offers an Intel Core Duo processor, ATI X1600 video card and DVI output.

10. Acer Aspire 5672 (New to top 10) - The Acer Aspire 5672 is highly popular because it has a high-end Intel Core Duo processor and a decent dedicated graphics card in the form of the ATI X1400 all for about $1,200. It's also easy to find in most any retail store.
